[3/19/14 Update: Voting has closed for the American Comedy Awards. Make sure to watch May 15 on NBC.]

Guess what you are doing this weekend? After you finish celebrating Brooklyn Nine-Nine's second season pickup (woots!), you can show them love and vote for them in the American Comedy Awards! Clearly the ACA has good taste, because Brooklyn99 received THREE nominations! You can vote at the NBC website or via their Facebook app. Voting ends 11:59 p.m. ET/8:59 p.m. PT on Tuesday, March 18, and the awards show will air May 15.

Here's the rundown of our nominations:

Comedy Series

Brooklyn Nine-Nine is in fine company with nominees Parks and Recreation, Modern Family, Saturday Night Live and Veep. However, it wasn't a fluke that Brooklyn99 received a Golden Globe, so let's prove it by securing our show another award.

Comedy Actor – TV

Andy Samberg started his acting awards collection the best way possible - with two Golden Globe wins. So let's make sure his Goldens have some company and help him defeat our lovable Mlepnos aka Fred Armisen (Portlandia) as well as Jason Bateman (Arrested Development); Keegan-Michael Key (Key & Peele); and Jordan Peele (Key & Peele).

Supporting Comedy Actress – TV

This is her first acting nomination, and you know Chelsea Peretti wants to tell the other nominees to "Put it in the suck-it bucket." So give her a vote to help her beat the competition: Vanessa Bayer (Saturday Night Live); Julie Bowen (Modern Family); Kate McKinnon (Saturday Night Live); and Aubrey Plaza (Parks and Recreation).

What About the Writers?

There was an obvious oversight when the writers of Brooklyn Nine-Nine did not receive a nomination, but I anticipate this will be corrected next year. Doesn't the ACA know that Terry Crews never stops working out? In the meantime, our sister show Parks and Recreation certainly deserves your vote.

Remember, voting ends March 18, so take a few minutes and complete your vote on the NBC website or via their Facebook app. And you can also spread the word with these links! #Brooklyn99FTW!
